Dear study participants,
10 years GCKD – and the journey continues…
The GCKD study originally planned an observation period of 10 years, which was already reached in 2020 for a majority of the participants. During this time, we have obtained a great deal of information about the progression of kidney disease and its associated complications, leading to improvements in diagnostic and treatment options. The information and blood as well as urine samples you have contributed have been instrumental in this success.
For this, we would like to thank you very much.
With each year of further observation, the benefits and knowledge gained grow considerably. For this reason, you, dear patients, were again asked to agree to an extension of the study. We are very pleased with the large positive response at all regional centers. Thank you for your continued trust and support!
